RAW WILD FISH must be frozen for one week at min -20c. Sushi chefs know and practise this in their restaurants. Freezing and cooking kills these worms.
FARM RAISED do not have these worms as Anisakis are from salt water oceans.
We saw these worms mainly on fresh Haddock and Halibut and returned entire batches due to them. Please be warned as they are not reportable to inspectors as they are not considered harmful as long as you handle your food correctly. All good for them to say.... I wish they would put this info on every package!!!
